Pennington Choices named Employer of the Year by Warrington Business Awards

Pennington Choices are delighted to announce that they have been awarded Employer of the Year at the Warrington Business Awards 2018.

Mark Seaborn, Managing Director of Pennington Choices said “It is a great honour to be recognised for our commitment to our people, and an opportunity for us to take stock and be proud of our achievements as an employer.

As a business delivering surveying and consultancy services, we recognise that our people are our greatest asset. This is why one of our key business objectives is ‘to be an excellent employer of exceptional people’.”

In April Pennington Choices were also awarded a one-star accreditation by Best Companies which collates The Sunday Times top 100 companies to work for 2018. Best Companies ranked Pennington Choices number 29 out of 75 Best Companies to work for in the North West, the location of Head Office.

“Our mission is to make a difference to the lives of our employees, as such we offer them a number of initiatives. These include options for flexible and remote working to enhance work/life balance, as well as on-site wellbeing days We provide free healthy snacks such as fresh fruit and healthy breakfasts, and access to a bespoke online portal providing perks and discounts as well as health and emotional wellbeing tips.

We launched two staff-led groups, the social committee and employee forum, to create a culture of bottom-up communication. As a result, staff have told us about social activities they want to participate in and improvements they want made to policy and procedure.”
