What can you expect from undertaking a career at Pennington Choices as a building and quantity surveying Project Manager?

As part of the building and quantity surveying team, project managers can expect to be heavily involved with our nationwide clients. Providing reports, updates and attending project update meetings.

The role of a project manager is mixed between on-site work where you will carry out inspections, and office work where you will be responsible for completing reports and project updates. You will also work alongside our in-house bid team to help write tender submissions for new contracts and projects, in addition to providing monthly billing and forecast updates to the service area leaders.

  • Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines;

  • Confident at managing a team and dealing with clients.

With this role comes the opportunity to complete the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) assessment of professional competence, which ends by becoming a chartered building surveyor. There is also the opportunity to be sent on the PRINCE 2 project management qualification – a recognised qualification in the project management market.
