You can expect to work in a friendly laboratory-based environment working either on solo tasks, or as part of a team working on large-scale projects in one of our United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited laboratories. The day-to-day work consists of analysing the various building materials that our asbestos surveyors collect, for the presence of asbestos through using polarised light microscopy.
Our trainee Lab Technicians will undertake a structured programme of learning and instruction from our expert team of technicians in order to gain the required P401 qualification.
As a Pennington Choices Lab Technician, you will have the skills and tools to provide excellent and highly efficient asbestos identification and analysis.
