Our business case experts take the hassle out of producing detailed business cases. They work closely with our clients to produce a business case based on their specific brief and output requirements. As a result of this, we are proud to have an open and collaborative relationship with both our client and their wider project team.
What is a business case?
When it comes to rolling out strategic, high value and complex projects, a well-written business case is both essential in terms of ensuring best value use of funding and also mandatory in relation to securing the necessary approvals. The case should be presented in a well-structured and compliant format, presenting the information necessary to enable approval, authorisation and policy-making bodies to assess a project proposal and reach a reasoned decision.
An effective business case demonstrates reasoning for initiating a project, whilst appraising the benefit, cost and risk of alternative options. The conclusive element of a case should provide a rationale for the preferred solution and ultimately lead to a project’s subsequent approval and successful delivery.
Why should I employ someone to help me write my business case?
Preparing a business case is a time-consuming and complicated process. It requires an individual with extensive knowledge of constructions, including co-ordination of the different roles required to input into the process.
You may find it more beneficial to employ an expert to help produce your report from the preliminary stages to the detailed business case. This can help to ensure that the final outputs are clearly focused on the key (and approved) steps in progressing the project.
