Group Head of Compliance                                              

We’re looking for a capable and committed person to grow into the newly created role of Group Head of Compliance.

My client is a 20,000 property housing association based in Greater Manchester, that’s soon to increase through merger activity.

It means there’s a tremendously exciting opportunity to make your mark; being instrumental in the development of a compliance team that meets the highest standards within a culture built on respect, excellence and achievement.

This key appointment will take responsibility for the ‘big 5’ compliance streams (asbestos, fire, gas, electrics, water plus lifts) and managing a team of up to 8 people, which requires a special individual with an exceptional blend of technical and people skills.

This is a senior level position that brings an opportunity to create a department, its processes and shape its culture in your own image, which will mirror the organisation’s open and progressive attitude to its key resource, its people.

The attractive salary is based on skills and competences nominally in the range £39,500-£47,700 plus LG pension, 30 days leave (+ stats) and a flexible working life based on a 36 hour week.
